The art of storytelling brings to life family memories, folktales, fairytales, legends, and myths. This past weekend was our first f2f meeting, allowing us to share in childhood and adult memories of the past. I enjoyed hearing all the stories and experiencing a piece of your lives. Those of you who shared openly without hesitation, I appreciate that about you! For some, I realize it was a harder task of which I can also appreciate, for what ever reason you were hesitant I understand because I too found myself very hesitant in a larger group. Then as I traveled home, I realized something that I already knew, that I come from a very critical family and this is a blocker for me. My new goal is to try not to put you in the same realm as my critical family and just tell the story to have fun! TELL STORIES!
